FAQ
Q. Do I need a reservation?
A. We work on a reservation-priority basis, so booking ahead is strongly recommended — especially at weekends. Same-day slots do appear, and you can check live availability on the booking page.
Q. How long does an appointment take?
A. Around two hours for a full gel treatment including nail care. Simple designs take less; detailed hand-painted art takes longer. Tell us your preferred finishing time when you book and we will plan backwards from it.
Q. Is communication in English possible?
A. To be straightforward with you: our staff are not fluent English speakers. What we can promise is that we will do our best to understand you — our technicians try hard in English, and we use a translation app when we reach the limits of that. In practice it works well, and guests from overseas come back to us. It helps that choosing a design is a visual conversation: you point at a sample book or a photo on your phone. If there is something we genuinely need to know — an allergy, a nail concern, a firm finishing time — having it written down to show us makes everything easy.
Q. 한국어 안내 가능 — do you have Korean-speaking staff?
A. One member of our team speaks Korean well. If you would prefer to be looked after in Korean, please mention it when you book and we will do our best to arrange the schedule accordingly.
Q. How long do gel nails last?
A. Three to four weeks is standard. With our para-gel base and fill-in maintenance, your natural nails stay healthy through continuous wear.
Q. Can I bring my own design?
A. Yes — screenshots from Instagram or magazines are very welcome. Please note that our parts and gel colors are limited, so the result may not be perfectly identical to the photo.
Q. Do you offer gel removal only?
A. Yes, removal-only visits are welcome, including gel applied at other salons. Please never peel gel off yourself — it takes layers of the natural nail with it.
Q. How do I remove the gel after I return home?
A. Gel does not come off on its own; it needs to be removed professionally or replaced at a salon. If you will not have access to a salon, tell us during your visit and we can suggest a design that grows out without looking untidy.
Q. Is tipping expected?
A. No. Tipping is not customary in Japan and is not expected here. The listed price is the price you pay.
Q. How do I pay?
A. Cashless only — we accept credit cards (VISA / Mastercard / JCB / American Express / Diners Club / Discover), transport IC cards (Suica, PASMO), iD, QUICPay and QR payments (PayPay and others). Cash is not accepted.
Q. What are your opening hours?
A. Weekdays 9:30–21:30 (last appointment 20:00) / Weekends & holidays 11:30–20:00 (last appointment 18:30). Irregular holidays; closed Dec 31–Jan 3.

It is about 4 minutes on foot from Shintomicho Station and 3 minutes from Takaracho Station — a different address from our main salon, so please take care to book the right one.
